How Much Time Is Involved?

DeskActive Manager makes adding new clients, managing their activity programs2, and communicating with them quick and simple.

The system is flexible: just like responding to emails or answering phone calls, health providers can choose how much attention and time to devote to clients, depending on the level of service being offered and charged for.

For example:

  • Corporate wellness organisations group clients into sub-categories (e.g. "healthy males age 20-40"), and then assign activities to those categories en masse, with very little time spent on individual clients. Consequently, adjustments to activity programs and encouragement messages can be sent to hundreds of clients at a time.
  • A physiotherapist working in rehabilitation can design custom programs for individual patients, monitor messages frequently and respond with professional, comprehensive advice.
Setup Of New Clients

New client users can be setup manually in less than two minutes.

For organisation-wide installations the entire setup process can be automated, drawing user information from spreadsheets, email lists or organisation networks.

Activity programs are assigned to clients from a group of 'favourite' programs and adapted by the health provider. The process can be automated using online health assessments sent to new clients, surveying their general health to determine an appropriate activity program.

Additional on-site training hours are charged at $160 AUD per hour plus travel expenses. Note: support work resulting from faults in the DeskActive product will not be charged.
